still soggy

actually, we're at mass saturation. got the iron horse back from the shop this weekend, took it out yesterday in the deluge - with just a quick bit of pavement before the shelter of the trees.

didn't help, though. it was so wet my eyeballs were soaked, and dirt/mud/grit found its way everywhere.

but, i heard that the dr. climbed hurricane (apropos in this weather) after work yesterday. cheers to him... too bad if it rains any more we won't be able to get on the trails for months until it dries out and erosion has destroyed them.

but, just getting out on dirt compared to riding pavement was a welcome, welcome change. let's do it tomorrow, damn the torpedoes!
